The history of Peter Bowers Opticians dates back to the 1930s, with Peter's grandfather opening his own watch making, optical and jewellery shop in Silverdale near Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Both Peter's parents qualified as ophthalmic opticians and had, at different times, independent optical practices in both Stone and Newcastle-under-Lyme, paving the way for Peter to establish his own practice.
Situated on Stone High Street, Peter Bowers Optometrist has been trading for over 30 years, cementing a strong family foundation of providing optical services in Staffordshire.
